CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
One Social Science Journal
The One Social Science Journal is the official refereed journal of the Philippine Social Science Council (PSSC). It publishes research studies, essays, book reviews and interviews from social science scholars and practitioners on a diverse range of issues affecting the Philippines and its people. Each paper contributor is expected to bring to bear social science tools and perspectives to analyze the issue in-depth.
Along with its mandate to lead in social science knowledge sharing and to nurture an environment for disciplinal advancement, the PSSC publishes the OSSJ as an agora for introducing new social science research perspectives, tools and analytical frames, opening opportunities to cultivate thought, and nourishing the discussion among the social science community.
In its inaugural edition, the Journal opens its doors to scholarly works from the fields of political science, linguistics, public health, psychology, sociology, public administration, communication, anthropology, geography, governance, social work and other related disciplines.
GUIDELINES OF SUBMISSION
All extended abstracts must be kept within 500 to 700 using the APA citation style. Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Please email your extended abstracts to firstname.lastname@example.org in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format on or before 28 February 2023. Only authors with approved abstracts will be requested for the full papers, which will be submitted to a double-blind review.
